Rachel Nichols, ki velja za eno najbolj spoštovanih novinark, ki pokrivajo ligo NBA je za ESPN opravila pogovor z Markom Cubanom. Lastnik Dallas Mavericksov je z Nicholsovo delil svoje napovedi za nadaljevanje lige NBA, ki je od danes naprej suspendirana zaradi koronavirusa.
Cuban pričakuje, da sezona lige NBA ne bo končana, ampak je v tem trenutku zgolj prestavljena. V tem primeru torej najboljša košarkarska liga na svetu tudi v tej sezoni ne bo ostala brez prvaka.
Mark Cuban napoveduje, da se bo sezona 2019/2020 morda zavlekla celo v mesec avgust.

Cuban said in this kind of scenario, the league would play “7-8” regular season games to get players back in rhythm, then would go into the playoffs. (As of now, most teams have 18-20 left on their schedules.)
